Can anyone recommend a reliable guide for Azerbaijan trips? Do we really need a guide or can we arrange the trip ourselves?

If you are going with family, having a guide and driver definitely helps. I found contact details of Seymour from someone and he did not disappoint, He is a highly recommended driver and guide, speaks reasonably good English and well mannered, His car accommodates up to 8 people, Mercedes vito, making it perfect for families.

The Bolt app which is Azerbaijan answer to Uber works out much cheaper if you are travelling with the city.

Interestingly the driver we hired was named Semur as well, Very decent guy with good English which is not very common there , his contact number is 00994 552028454
