I will be visiting Bahrain for couple of days with family. Are 2 days enough to see Bahrain, can anyone share their itinerary?

If you are travelling from Saudi, by road, make sure to take car insurance online, I turned up at border and was told you cant get insurance less than 30 days so had to pay for whole month.

Yes, 2 days are sufficient for sightseeing in Bahrain, but to truly experience the culture 3 days would be ideal.

It really depends on what you are looking for. Most hotels provide prayer rooms, religious books, and prayer dresses—either in the rooms or available on request. Since Bahrain is a Muslim country, finding halal food is very easy.

Some suggestions for exploring are:

Naseef in Saada and Al Sedra in Muharraq are 2 popular traditional Bahraini restaurants worth visiting.

Haji’s Cafe, located at Bab Al Bahrain Souq in Manama, is one of Bahrain’s oldest and most cherished eateries.

Danat Al Tawawish, known for its authentic flavours and warm ambiance, is a beloved traditional restaurant in Manama’s historic souq.

Some must see historic sites include Arad Fort (15th Century) and Al Jasra Village (Famous for traditional crafts, including pottery and weaving).

For natural wonders, don’t miss the Tree of Life.

Cultural landmarks such as Beit Al Quran, the Bahrain National Museum, Manama Souq, and Muharraq Souk, Pearling Path (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
