Has anyone stayed in Double Tree Hilton, Jabal Omar in Makkah? How far of a walking distance is it actually from the Haram?

Google maps says it is a 12-minute walk.

I stayed close to it. It's not just the walk but the steepness of the hill coming back that can be an issue for the elderly and the not-so-healthy. Also the time to climb the hill is usually what adds on the time for some people.
Their shuttle service runs regularly. That might make up for the challenge

Would it be a good idea if you walked to the Hyatt Regency and then through it to the Haram? From the main entrances, it’s not steep.
