Has anyone stayed in Lombok? I know its more predominantly muslim area as compared to Bali and thus more halal restaurants But not sure if they have as good hotels as Bali.

Lombok is nicknamed as Muslim Bali. 2 hrs ferry from Bali , lot of masajids and of course halal eateries. same vibes as Bali but more conservative as fewer Western tourists than Bali.

I remember watching some videos of Lombok. Not as touristy and thus more authentic in my opinion.
