Indonesia was one of my favourite holidays ever. We landed in Jakarta and went to Yogyakarta for the Buddhist temples before going across to Bali.

We took the train from Jakarta to Yogyakarta then the bus and the ferry to Bali. Flew to Jakarta and back from Bali.

Bali is no doubt beautiful, but I feel that Indonesia has too much to offer. There is Komodo island with pink beach. around 1 hr 30 min flight. There were ferries from Lombok to Komodo but we couldn't do due to shortage of time.
