I would be very cautious wt this statement ... bali does offer halal food options but a lot of places do not hv 100% halal certifications, some balinese cuisine even contains pork. U'd find a number of hindu shrines, hence a number of non-muslim communities. Its a popular place for ozzies and other westerners, so alcohol is widely available.

I know a few indonesian they say in bali majority is buddist or hindu comunity  they say halal but its not halal .The advice given to me was stick to vegetarian. This advice is from local indonesian who visit bali. A hindu owner will write halal but its not halal

The safe one is 100% seafood. Don't eat fries, though, because they cook better in animal oil and are slightly expensive.

For those struggling to find reliable halal food one good option is to get the app Happy Cow. It will provide you list of vegetarian and vegan restaurants so don’t have o worry about pork in the food.
