We stayed at Grand Hyatt KL and I will recommend it. It’s been some years since I visited KL but found staying close to the KLCC really convenient. The hotel was unique as the lobby was on the 40th floor, so you’d get a panoramic view of KL from the lobby and in the restaurant located two floors below. Their pool and spa is situated at a rise of the hotel but not too far up, and it’s nestled away, so doesn’t feel like you’re right in the city. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was spot on. We didn’t do the KLCC view, but the city view was fine for us. Hope this helps.

 I agree, stay in KLCC which is close to most of landmarks. I stayed with my family very close to Petronas tower and found the location very convenient.
