4. Mode of transport – plane, rental car, tourist bus/van, train, boat

For a start, you can google these places:

• Kuala Lumpur (KL): The city alone has plenty of attractions. Lots of shopping malls too.
• Malacca: 2-hour drive south, historic from Portuguese period.
• Genting Highlands: 1-hour drive northeast.
• Penang Island: 45-minute flight, island city.
• Langkawi Island: 1-hour flight, minimum 4-5 days’ stay.

If time permits (2 weeks), try the train up north into the border of Thailand or take the east-coast railway. Few amazing islands include Tioman, Redang, and Kapas.

For more adventure, try the national parks (e.g., Taman Negara) for 4D3N. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore East Malaysia’s tropical forests, caves, mountains, and wildlife. Scuba divers often visit Sabah (Sipadan, Semporna). That’s another level .

Food-wise… plenty of mouth-watering dishes to savor! And tropical fruits too."
