Any suggestions for a reasonably priced resort in Maldives amd what is the best time to visit ?

A friend visited Maldives sometime ago. The low season for Maldives is from May to November. He stayed on the main island which was cheaper and did day visits to some expensive island resorts rather than staying there overnight.

For maldives advice is stay at a resort 3 days ( experience the luxury)the rest on a island where locals live works out cheaper. I will recommend Centara Ras Fushi Resort , -Arena Beach Hotel in Maafushi (Local island/budget).
