I will be visiting Doha for some business work for 2 days. I have one day for sightseeing; can someone fill me up with what to do in Doha in 24 hours.
You can visit MIA Museum of Islamic Art, a beautiful building on the waterfront that houses one of the world’s best collections of Islamic art from across centuries. Then, stroll along the nearby Corniche, a lovely seaside promenade perfect for photos.
For lunch and some shopping, go to Souq Waqif, a traditional market where you can enjoy local Qatari dishes, buy souvenirs, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. In the evening you can go to Katara Cultural Village for a mix of art galleries, cafes, and beachfront views. For the dinner you may go to The Pearl, a luxurious man made island known for its restaurants and marina views.
If you have another day, I highly recommend taking a desert safari trip to the Sealine Sand dunes, where the golden sands meet the sea. It’s a unique experience with dune bashing, camel rides, and stunning sunset views by the water.
