Absolutely, Riyadh is worth visiting, especially if you’re interested in experiencing a city that blends rich cultural heritage with modern development.

As the capital of Saudi Arabia—the largest state in the GCC—Riyadh has transformed into a cosmopolitan hub. While having a car is convenient for navigating the city’s expansive layout, the newly introduced metro system, combined with readily available taxis, offers an efficient alternative for getting around.

Food enthusiasts will find Riyadh a delight, with a vast array of restaurants offering both traditional Saudi cuisine and international flavors.

Boulevard World is a notable attraction, offering a variety of entertainment options. However, it’s important to note that it’s a commercial enterprise designed to encourage spending at every turn, and some visitors find it to be on the expensive side.

The best time to visit Riyadh is between October and March, when the weather is cooler and more conducive to outdoor activities.

Having visited Riyadh frequently over the past few years, I’ve come to appreciate its unique blend of tradition and modernity. The city’s continuous development and cultural offerings make each visit a new experience.
