Their trains services are quite good and mostly runs on time and cheap to travel . But of course they are not Japan . The other issue is you have to go train station to make bookings .

I’ll be travelling from Bukhara to Tashkent to return to Qatar.

I’ll arrive at Tashkent at 11.30pm and my flight is at 3.20am.

I was there last week. Could not find a train from Tashkent to Samarkand. Trains must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance that is what I was told. I decided to take an intercity taxi when I saw the car and the driver and it was evening time I decided cancel my plan to go to Samarkand.
