INFO on Uzbekistan

Passport: British passport Holder

Visa: On arrival for 30 days

Taxi App: Yandex Go (very cheap)

Any other useful info:

- The best currency to exchange is in USD to get the best rate.

- Alternatively, you can exchange your GBP or other currencies in local banks to get the best rate

- You can also use cards like Monzo, etc where debit cards are accepted.

- Book train tickets using http://12go.asia&source=gmail&ust=1733821223888000&usg=AOvVaw35KLPULtq0eMpc2Tl4E8X l">12go.asia (minimum 2 weeks in advance). Book 1st class tickets to have a comfortable journey especially with kids. Train service is reliable and usually on time. Ensure you go to the station at least 50 minutes before departure.

- If you book a tour guide, always haggle at least 50% of the price.

- buy an Uzbek sim from the airport
