I would also be really interested in recommended itinerary and tried food places. Also would it be best to use the ‘grab’ for travel or get a guide for Thailand ? Thank you

Whoever is travelling to Thailand, try to go to Kraabi it is quieter and more beautiful than Phuket. Also there is Koh Pan Yi Muslim island. It is worth going there. You can visit a beautiful masjid there. We stayed for 2 nights and had a private boat booked which was very cheap. The guy took us all day around to Maya bay, James Bond island and fishing. Just our family on the boat. The guys name is Abdurrahman, they also call him Milk. You can find there contact on google/YouTube

If staying in langkawi you can do a daytrip to nearby island: pulau tuba. Can also visit koh lipe (Thailand) from langkawi
