Rize, Turkey

If you’re visiting Ayder in Turkey, don’t miss a quick trip to Huser Yaylası , just about 30–40 minutes away by off-road vehicle or a scenic hike.

One of those places that makes you feel like you’re standing above the clouds. Literally. The views are magical, especially around sunset when the “cloud sea” starts to form.

At the top, there’s a small local tea stall where you can enjoy a hot cup with fresh mountain air all around. Simple and beautiful.

It’s an easy half-day trip from Ayder, and the road to Huser is an adventure in itself. If you’re into nature, peaceful vibes, and unforgettable views, this place is worth every bump on the road.

Ayder is a lush green plateau in Rize, Turkey, known for its fresh mountain air, wooden houses, and peaceful vibe. It is around 2.5 hours drive from Trabzon Airport and around one hour from Rize Airport. Surrounded by forests and waterfalls, it’s a perfect base for nature lovers. You can take short trips from Ayder to nearby waterfalls like Gelin Tülü, visit Zilkale (a scenic castle on a cliff), or drive up to high mountain plateaus like Huser for the amazing “sea of cloud” experience – a photographers dream.
