There is at least one halal restaurant run by Bangladeshi owners near Rialto Bridge (e.g. Doner Kebap takeaway, a few minutes’ walk away). Another previously recommended place was “Italindia”, Pakistani‑owned, with good but relatively expensive halal food. Some suggest staying in Mestre and day‑tripping to Venice.
